Fuck Sepultura, long live Krisiun, the new heroes from Brazil!
They are 3 brothers who have slammed their 2nd album together. I don’t owe their first one, so no comparison with that album. They recorded this album themselves, so it doesn’t sound like the last Sepultura, which had better production than good songs. However, this band blows away Sepultura in terms of brutality as Krisiun is more Death Metal and is many times faster than the once great Sepultura.
People who can’t get it fast and structured enough will enjoy this a lot. Now that Sepultura is on its backside and will never, ever release a masterpiece like ‘Beneath the Remains’ again, I place my hope on Krisiun. Now let’s hope they can deliver it live just as convincingly and enthusiastically.
