A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

When he is not busy with Harakiri for the Sky, J.J. is working on his one-man-project Karg. As always J.J. plays all instruments. The vocals are done by himself and on every track he gets vocal support from members of Lunar Aurora, Downfall Of Gaia, Âmer, Ancst, Instant Karma, fut and Ellende. Karg from Austria is an atmospheric mix of Black Metal and Post-Rock. 76 minutes of pure melancholy without getting monotonous. The lyrics are in German and in the Austrian dialect from the Salzburg region.

This mammoth of an album with a duration of 76 minutes is the sixth one from Karg. It creates some curious blossoms but it is very difficult to name one outstanding track in particular. All tracks blend together in one great melancholy and emotional experience.

When you listen to that album you should grab a cup of tea and stare out a window, maybe watching the rain, and just listen to the whole thing all in one go. (HaCeBo)
