A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Naming your band as one of the earliest known Indian texts on astronomy and astrology could give you the thought Jyotiṣavedāṅga is dealing with Atmospheric Black Metal, maybe the light and dreamy kind or maybe in the vein of Darkspace. But if I tell you this is more the Black/Death kind with Noise parts and distorted vocals, then we are more into the massiveness and enormity of the subject. Tracks like “Quantum Integers Systematic Deduction” and “Imploding Linear Fusion Propulsion System” swallow you into nothingness…

The collaboration between 2 individuals from Russia, with experience in SickRites and Tetragrammacide, and 1 from Inda, will not be for everyone. It will appeal the deviant ones who enjoy the murky Black/Death riffs as well as distorted almost sonar noise played by some in the genre combined with the stellar dark side. If Tetragrammacide provides you the chaos you need, Jyotiṣavedāṅga will add a bit of the cosmos atmosphere to that. (Ricardo)
