A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

A Death Metal band based on aviation jargon…now I’ve heard it all. With a nice pun on Air Force One, Heir Corpse One plays their self-announced Aero-Zombie Death Metal the Swedish way.

Not strange when you see the name Rogga Johansson within the ranks on board, accompanied by fellow members of Paganizer, To Descend, Those who bring the Torture etc. It is hard not to repeat myself, but with most Rogga releases, you know what to expect. With Heir Corpse One it is quite the same, Swedish Death Metal with groove and the typical vocals.

If you’re following the man who has the gift of having 48 hours in one day, otherwise it is impossible to do what he is doing, since the beginning of his career like we do, you don’t get easily surprised anymore by his projects. I think Furnace was the last time I raised an eyebrow…And then you’re quick to classify it as a “sure, another Rogga project”, but I know there are plenty of people who inhale this like oxygen.

So it is actually quite easy; if you are a Rogga fan, check it out, if not, Heir Corpse One will not win you over.
