Info

If a band is being compared with the epic part of Bathory, I’m always curious to hear a track or two. For instance I have a soft spot for a band like Morrigan. Ofcourse it’s not reaching the level of the mighty Quorthon himself, yet the spirit is right there. Ereb Altor’s live version of “Twilight of the Gods” is a very good one, yet on “Nattramn” you will hear a blend of Bathory’s Viking era, some Primordial and epic Doom. It’s far from bad or boring, yet some passages aren’t really fitting in, like at the end of the title track. It devaluates the epic-ness. The feeling that this ablbum could be better, sticks.
