Info

Between ‘Svyatogor’ and ‘Siberian Moonlit Night’, Devilgroth’s 9th full-length album, Russian composer and multi-instrumentalist Aarsland also released an acoustic instrumental EP under the banner of Devilgroth and a book about Dungeon Synth called ‘Dungeon Synth: The Rebirth Of The Legend’. Quite a busy lad may I say.

‘Siberian Moonlit Night’ shines an other light on Devilgroth, less Siberian coldness and more melancholic. Aarsland himself consider it a more mature album and evolution of the sound. The hypnotic Raw Black Metal is still present, morphed into a more mournful dirge. As a whole, I thinkg this is the best Devilgroth’s album sofar.
