Info

A concept album from the Epic Black Metal duo Dauþuz. Aragonyth S.  and Syderyth G.  wrote about a mine blacksmith, mankind in general, greed, destructive behaviour and darkness, which is also reflected in the artwork.

The songs on ‘Vom schwarzen Schmied’ are generally a bit shorter than on the ‘Grubenfall 1727’ EP, but still we have several tracks of 7 minutes or longer. As on the EP the production is clear to let the listener hear all the details Dauþuz have in mind with their Epic approach. Also on this album, like the EP, it is filled with fine melodies, chants, and acoustic guitars. The addition of a narrator and piano-like keys gives this concept album the final touch.

Those who enjoyed the EP or are interested in Epic Black Metal in general, Dauþuz’ ‘Vom schwarzen Schmied’ is a good addition for your collection.
