Warhammer 40k, Old School Death Metal…I think I’ve witnessed this before. It is easy to slab the “Bolt Thrower” tag on it, but it doesn’t fit the description at its fullest.
It is more accurate to consider it as a Bolt Thrower, Hail of Bullets and Asphyx mixture with a sound towards the HM-2 pedal. Straightforward riffs and variation in pace; ‘Landungsfeldmassaker’ does have it all.
Not a bad debut at all, but like many in this specific style, they don’t fill the gap both Bolt Thrower and Hail of Bullets left at its fullest.
