A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

With experience in acts like Krieg, Nargaroth, Seeds of Hate and Wolfthorn to name a few, multi-instrumentalist L’Hiver has his own and long running project Winterblut, since 1994, and released the 10th full length.

Only a few will actually enjoy it, as it is raw, dissonant, a bit out of tone Black Metal, a peculiar form of it if you will. Even a cold or grim line of melody isn’t present and this musical encounter is meant for the listener to suffer with emptiness. If you enjoy disharmonious and minimalistic raw Black Metal, Winterblut could be something of your liking. If not, you better keep this one out of your cart and pick something else. (Ricardo)
