Enter Uralt’s ‘Winterflame’ EP, the debut release of this Bosnian and Herzegovinian act, is in the vein of Darkthrone’s ‘Under a Funeral Moon’.

It all starts with an eerie, subtle piano intro that gives way to lo-fi Dissection ‘Where Dead Angels lie’ acoustic interlude. Both tracks musically evoke early Enslaved and Ulver vibes with similar production values, besides the aforementioned Darkthrone inspiration.

Nothing stood out on this EP for me personally, but if you want a quick run of some raw Second Wave influenced Black Metal, Bosnia’s Uralt will give you just that.
