A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Tundra from Italy are one of those bands who like to collaborate  with like-minded, as they have released 11 splits with acts like Alastor, Detonator666, Hammergoat, Baphomet’s Throne and The True Endless to name just a few. And if you are strolling the underground for quite a while, you may know Barbarud Hrom of Maniac Butcher did vocals on their debut album “Ansia” back in 2005.

With “The Darkening Sky” Tundra release their occult for the 4th time in their existence. While the Black Metal is in the vein of Gorgoroth’s “Antichrist” and “Pentagram” and without doubt genuine, the slower parts are less grabbing than the up tempo parts in my humble opinion. Not a huge fan of the distorted sounding vocals of Demogorgon either, but that is something personal. Not a bad album at all as their enough good riffs and musical ideas present, just a couple of factors for me not to hit the repeat button enthusiastically.
