A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

After the rather succesful “Sunrape” album from 2003 they have put themselves on the global grindcore/death metal market with even a vinyl release on Autopsy Stench Records, after a couple of even more succesful shows and tour (even a full Asian tour!) the band had to come up with a new record as three years is quite a wait for your average grindcore band. The follow-up was put onto tape in the form of “Cloned & Enforced”, no need to say that expectations were high. Yet, I can’t deny a bit of a disappointment. The power, groove and fury of “Sunrape” isn’t simply there anymore. There are some cool suprises like the very much Agnostic Front like “Nanopunctures” for instance, and it is certainly not a bad album, I just expected a bit more.
