I was doubtful the first 15 seconds in, because the vox sounded too familiar and almost modern Nu-Thrash-ish?… and then the music went all Thrashy… and then those sick early 90s Death Metal solos and licks appeared and then I said “hold on” and then it went into full-blown Death Metal mode.

Then after a decent helping of that, back to Thrash and then lo and behold sludgy Doom? Very interesting…. like I took a time capsule to the early 90’s where Death Metal bands took themselves and their art very seriously, ie not try to sound like everybody else.

Look, nothing’s original these days, but daring to sound different always gets my vote. For fans of The Forsaken, there is lots to like here, but instead of the lame ass Gothenburg stuff alternating with the Death Metal, we have Thrash and Doom? Yes, please. Sign me up!

In other news; They remixed and remastered their debut album recently as well – that they’ve had out since the 90s so. Definitely a pressing need to investigate here.

I hope these guys become massively huge. They’ve been around long enough. Just had a lot of bad luck and they deserve a spot in the sun after all those years of hard toiling.
