Presented with a very tight and crystal clear production Bane creates a wonderful dark and heavy atmosphere and the melodies make the songs recognizable. Perfectly placed keyboards are sometimes used to create an even darker atmosphere but without overwhelming to whole scene. The drumming on the record is perfect on point and gives the songs a nice drive. The songwriting is varied and throughout the record there are delicious riffs of uncompromising heaviness.
I constantly nodded my head while I was listening and reviewing the album. I will definitely have to listen to “Esoteric Formulae“ a few more times to squeeze everything out of it. The first three times were a great pleasure – good job. (HaCeBo)
