Greek newcomers Wampyric Bloodcult make an impressive debut with ‘Manifestation of Morbid Visions’. This two-track demo is built around raw Black Metal, vampyric themes and a dark atmosphere that feels true to the old underground scene.

Running for just over ten minutes, the demo quickly sets its mood. The guitars mix bleak melodies with rough production, while the drums keep everything moving without taking attention away from the atmosphere. There’s also a clear Greek black metal influence that gives the songs their own character.

Nyktalus delivers aggressive, venomous vocals that fit the music perfectly. Together with the lyrics about vampirism and anti-Christian themes, the demo feels like one dark ritual rather than just two separate songs.

The production stays raw without hiding the riffs, which is one of the release’s biggest strengths. Good songwriting remains the main focus throughout.

‘Manifestation of Morbid Visions’ may be short, but it leaves a strong impression. Wampyric Bloodcult combine atmosphere, memorable riffs and genuine passion for the genre to deliver a debut that fans of traditional Black Metal should enjoy.
