प्रलय – Beyond the Tattered Curtain of Unspeakable Madness

प्रलय – beyond the tattered curtain of unspeakable madness

Info

Polish horde प्रलय (Pralaya) have recently unleashed their supremely evil and destructive debut work of art album called ‘Beyond the Tattered Curtain of Unspeakable Madness’ – a month or so ago (23rd of August) via Ancient Dead Productions.

And what a killing spree of death defying Blackened Death Metal this is!

This release brings nothing new to the table perhaps, but these lads do summon forth their finest “A game” in conviction and execution – best known for by French horde Arkhon Infaustus and fellow Polish destructors Anima Damnata. Both those bands also bringing their A game, and both starting with the letter “A” is a mere coincidence??
Certainly not!

So what can we expect here? Try to imagine 39min and 18secs of Black/Death Metal sorcery so brutal and intense that it borderlines on (and surpasses) War Metal. Phenomenally super tight playing elevates this madness to elite levels. Added to the formula, we have galvanising doom to offset the insanely fast and precise blasting percussion and supremely hellish memorable riffs.

What we are left with is the most brutal Metal that these ungodly….. er…. um…. brutes… can offer.

The vox themselves leave no false-cord notes, and no parts of the larynx unraped with their vomitous deep growling and higher pitched screams – truly a religious experience in of itself.

To most people this might lose a point or two for originality, but for someone like me, who worship the two aforementioned “A” bands, these demonic lads and their debut album are a fucking Luciferian godsend. I’d give this elite abomination no less than a fucking perfect score.

I say “Bravo!” and “Kudos!” to these maniacs for passionately following their hearts and Satanic devotion and expression. They create and play their devillish Metal accordingly with 200% conviction.

I’m a follower henceforth, and my money is now theirs, and forevermore will be – providing they can maintain their creativity and ravenous hunger. But I digress. I am nigh on certainty that, from here on out, they WILL be a devastating force to be reckoned with, and of corpse be taken notice of by quite a few macabre Satanic Black, Death, and War Metal connoisseurs alike.

In closing I’ll just declare this: Bow down to these new gods motherfuckers. The Black current is alive here.
AMSG!
