Tyrannic are a Black/Doom Metal band from Sydney, New South Wales in Australia. This duo of destruction released, with the help of Iron Bonehead Productions, their second full-length album, ‘Mortuus Decadence’, back in 2021.
I know it says Black/Doom Metal above as the genre tag for this band but there is so much more to what’s going on here than that. I hear splashes of Punk, minor riff hints of Thrash, random blips of NWOBHM and some just straight up Rock every once in a while.
Now while being vile and sinister and all the typical makings of all things Black/Doom it still sounds like it’s fun to play. It sure as hell is fun to listen to. Yeah, it may be Black/Doom Metal but that does mean you can’t enjoy yourself. So do it, listen to Tyrannic and turn that corpse paint frown upside-down.
