A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Dequisitor is a massive sounding war machine from Denmark. Sure, I could write a simple intro about their demo and their EP called “Hexagon Vortex”, which was released by Ancient Darkness Productions as well in 2014, but let’s just get right to business. Dequisitor is a massive sounding war machine. From Denmark, in case you’re short of memory. I can’t say it hasn’t been done before, what Dequisitor is playing, as the Incantation / Immolation / Morbid Angel influenced Death Metal is well represented the last couple of years. But it is very well performed. The sound is a bit blurry, therefore the Death Metal sounds a bit chaotic, but it fits well with this kind of Death Metal. Definitely worth your attention!
