After writing some words about their split with Karkinos I went back to hear the demo „Lahes“. Finest Hellas Black Metal with a really warm production, old school the way It should sound. Archaeos already had great moments on this one but will be developed on the next release. Melodies, groove, acoustic guitars and harsh vocals(Necomantia anyone) work very well in my opinion. The drums do what ist necessary, not more. The bass is audible but not perfectly mixed. The blast sections aren´t the best on this record, fortunately they are not many. I would say a good demo, worth giving a listen. (DPF)
