Four years after its haunting debut, ‘Elevation Within the Mists of Naaltrah’ from 2021 – Luminous Transfixion returns with a new full-length — a searing testament to the vision of the elusive Nort/Despairing Nort, Spirited Wanderer of the Mountains (Borda’s Rope, Moongate, Crest of Mahdrum Spirit, Varkonic Telepathy), who earlier this year unleashed a formidable release under the Varkonic Telepathy banner.
This is yet another masterwork of melancholic yet very raw Black Metal by a profilic musician, stripped to its most primal essence. Blistering, moonlit riffs tear through decrepit forests and along blood-soaked shores, carrying the wails of a thousand slaughtered souls and the malevolent gaze of the magian, surveying scorched battlefields from jagged peaks as he casts his wrath upon the earth.
This new full‑length is no mere album — it is a dirge of ruin, meticulously stripped to the marrow, where every note is a blade and every silence a grave.
Songs like ‘Owl’s Flight Through the Fog of Naaltrah’, ‘My Dream of the Hidden World’ or ‘I Climbed The Summit to Gaze Upon the Mists’ are nothing less than gems for tortured souls.
Channeling the frostbitten spirit of the BlazeBirth Hall and Lascowiec, and wielding the same murderous edge as a Sanguine Relic, Lampir, Orgy Of Carrion, Luminous Transfixion delivers a scorching, unrelenting opus — now available through Perverse Homage.
