Finnish Black/Thrash act Front grabbed the attention of Iron Bonehead Productions quite early in their existence, as the first demo in 2015 was released by the label and was well received. With “Iron Overkill” Von Bastard, Revenant and Kaosbringer created their debut full-length and got a cassette treatment by Von Frost Records besides the usual CD and 12” vinyl releases by Iron Bonehead Productions.
With this EP you get some old Slayer, Deströyer 666, Desaster and old Kreator fired at you with “Iron Front” and “Venom & Salt” as examples of those influences. But when they shift into 5th gear, like on the EP closer “Machinegun Blasphemy”, they definitely sound like Marduk. You will hear nothing you haven’t heard before, “Antichrist Militia” is a good listen but nothing extraordinary. (Ricardo)
