Vetëvrakh – Dominion of Terror

vetëvrakh – dominion of terror

Info

True sons of Satan, Vetëvrakh from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina have defiling the underground scene with a multitude of demo’s and split contributions since 2013, slowly carving their way to global underground acclaim and their debut album which has finally been unearthed.

I’m not unfamiliar with their antics of raw, unpolished schizophrenic and tortured satanic Black Metal but “Dominion of Terror” totally blew my mind. The sound on this album is for once very detailed, balanced and clear, allowing their musical madness to unfold itself in…err…full satanic glory.

“Son of Satan” opens with gentle acoustic guitar until the depraved and rotten vocals grab hold of the song and the carnage begins. “The True Face of Evil” has a bit of a rocking feeling to it, but the bellowing vocals drag it down mercilessly into a black tarpit of demonic proportions. “All in His Name”, “God Ends Here”, the title track – they’re all performed in utter insanity and un-pure satanic devotion to the Prince of this world. The band is often compared to those other notorious heavy weights, such as Mons Veneris. One could easily add a vintage Mütiilation or another extreme LLN act to it, a Vetala if you will, a Lycanthropic Winter Moon (remember their “Nocturnal Wampyric Terror” butchery from 2019?),…

The entire album simply reeks of rotten graveyards, putrid satanism, god-hating black masses, moulded candle lit rituals and other unspeakable things that shun the normal daylight. Music wise it can’t hardly get more offensive. And vocal wise…let’s say it’s not of this earth.

You’re still not convinced? Check out the album on YouTube or some other trendy streaming site and hurry up to get yourself a copy! (LCF)
