Info

Despite Written in Torment existing since 2003, this Black Metal band centred around Leviathan from the UK, only truly sprang into action after releasing their first album ‘Bellum Omnium Contra Omnes’ in 2013.

With ‘Black Command’, the blasphemous fire for 90s Swedish Black Metal with melodic accents is once again powerfully fueled. For fans of concept albums, ‘Black Command’ is a concept album about the life and crimes of Jonathan Martin, the infamous arsonist of York Minster Cathedral.

If Throne of Ahaz’ ‘On Twilight Enthroned’ or Midvinter’s ‘At the Sight of the Apocalypse Dragon’ are albums that regularly find their way to your CD or record player, then ‘Black Command’ is an album to check out.
