With members who played or still play in Blood Mortized, Excruciate, Mastication, Exhumed and Morpheus in the ranks, we aren’t talkin’ about boy scouts here. Still this is no typical Old School SweDeath Metal release as there are some twists (brutal in the American way) which aren’t really common for the famous genre, but the growl, the D-Beat groove and fuzzy sound keep the connection strong with Old School SweDeath. Just listen to “Rolling with Corpses”, it all starts as a Grave/Entombed riff driven track and in the middle there is a certain brutal twist you don’t expect after the aforementioned riff. Is this a terrible thing? On the contrary! “Dum Morior Orior” is a good Old School Death Metal album, no doubt about that. (Ricardo)
