Info

The debut album by Cult of the Horns is a pretty ferocious affair of Blackened Death metal that pounds the listener from the get-go. The compositional quality is above standard, and supported with a good production that gives more power to the performance. All the instruments are audible and well performed, with the drums and bass prominently embedded in the mix. There is quite an emphasis on atmosphere, which is where the black metal elements seep in. The album definitely gets better with each listen, as it contains enough depth to make you go back for more. People into bands like Adorior, Lvcifyre, and Impiety, will dig this. (Filth Bearer)
