Info

After a debut full-length in 2015 and a split with Marche Funèbre in 2017, A Thousand Sufferings from Belgium created their second album “Bleakness” which is filled with Blackened Doom Metal.

The Black Metal part is definitely in the thin sound as well as the riffs of the guitars, while the tempo and passages accompanied with the vocals are more at home within the Doom scene. So we have Darkthrone and Celtic Frost like rhythms at one hand and the agony of My Dying Bride as well as early Tiamat on the other. Intriguing for some, others will back down due of one of the elements.
