A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

This here is a compilation album from Phlegm with their complete Demo material. Purposeless? Under no circumstances because Phlegm are worth it to be observed and that a record label accept them and support them. Phlegm was a damned old band, formed in 1988 in Rhode Island in the USA and they had released 4 Demos and a 7 inch EP. They split up 1994. On the double CD are their 4 Demos a total of 42 tracks and 2 unreleased songs. I am a little bit disappointed because Necroharmonic Production can grap the EP “Masterpiece Of Mutilation” with it. But everything else is perfect. Phlegm’s Death Metal is a mix between Headrot, Embalmer, Rottrevore and the mighty Necrovore. The Grindcore tracks from this US boys reminds me to the gods Napalm Death in their “Scum” and “From Enslavement To Obliteration” phase. All in all a good compilation record.
