Caelid are a Black Metal/Hardcore Punk from Canada who towards the end of 2022 unleashed a short debut demo that weighs in at a mighty six minutes! Just like the band, I’ll keep this short and sheet. Evil sounding riffs merge with a dominant and frenzied drumming attack of pure spite and malice. Slightly murky production helps to define a visceral atmosphere but in truth the maelstrom of grim, powerful vocals, battering ram drumming, and forceful unrelenting bass needs no help. Caelid produce just what they set out to create; punishing feral straight up Black Metal barbarity and savagery!
