Another brief EP from the Vmbria Perdvta label; Incanto Lunare (Lunar Charm) and their ‘Painting My Soul Black’ EP is a release with a vast flowing sound of harmonic synth tones and grandiose organ sounds that collides well with a harsh vocal style and simple yet effective Black Metal riffs and drumming combination. Add into the mix some glacial guitar leads and well thought out poetic rhyming lyrics that focus on nature and of course, lunar events, and you have all the ingredients for a very enjoyable release. Props to Vmbria Perdvta too who are putting together a fine roster!
