Info

Let me just state out the obvious, “I” is the first demo of Siete Lagunas and “II” is the second…and now they are released as a compilation by La Caverna Records from Colombia. Siete Lagunas is also from Colombia and plays minimalistic lo-fi Black Metal without bass and therefor the sound is quite thin and bleak. It transforms the fast written and short outbursts into a mix of noise and raw Black Metal.

And although the band´s lyrics are attempts to channel the spirits of the mountains and the lakes around the pre-Colombian Chibcha culture, I can’t say I’m getting more known with this indigenous civilization. Let’s call it experimental and challenging Black/Noise, I’m sure people will like it as there is a market for everything, but I can’t say I will listen to it again, to challenging for me… (Ricardo)
