A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

In the last few years the Polish scene on the extreme Death/Black sound grows up with amazing bands and albums. Kriegsmaschine are back with their new opus which see the band in perfect form…Black metal tunes with a progressive touch through a massive production. The riffing is darker than ever with  progressive and acoustic elements which gives a dark and evil atmosphere in the songs. I have to confess that the drumming is amazing different than usual stuff with an ethnic/jazz background. The classic Black metal vocals are also here, which fits perfect for me, through mid tempo songs for more atmosphere.

If You like acts like Mgla, Aosoth and Glorior Belli, this is a must. In this kind of Black Metal stuff I think this is one of the highlights of the year. (John Giakoumakis)
