From Mexico, may I introduce you to Infernal Conjuration, Death Metal from the ancient days, the ancient way, morbid, sick twisted and obscure. Already around since 2006, this combo released 1 demo and 2 EPs prior to the now discussed debut album “Infernale Metallum Mortis”.

The band was able to capture the spirit from the past once again, with a production that is well balanced but not polished or overproduced. The use of effects like reverb are placed well and help to add that old school feeling. The mixture of tremendous tornado like riffs and bashing drums are delicious. Imagine old Morbid Angel with a dose of older Death and Morgoth. Some parts are brutal as fuck, others are almost catchy (not cheesy) and the vocals sound like a bastard between Dave Vincent, old Ross Dolan and a hint of Chuck Schuldiner. The band also adds some Black moments here and there, like country mates Shub Niggurath, Mortuary or Mortem (after a couple of listens I hear a lot of things in this direction).

Fast stuff, doomy sections, panzer groove violations, everything is packed into this album. The  so called “classic stuff” like “Chapel of Ghouls” or “Open Casket” are missing, but the potential is here for sure. I enjoyed the listen very much and hope you will too. Well done! (DPF)
