Hierophant is an Italian band that exists since 2009, has so far released four full length albums and “Spawned Abortions” is a two song EP released via the US label Unholy Anarchy Records.
The first track is “Spawned Abortions” and it offers nearly four minutes of apocalyptic Death/Black metal with galloping speed, fast guitar riffing and the dark vocals of bassist/vocalist Fabio Carretti. This song will surely make you move your neck and get ready for the second one which is a cover version of Bolt Thrower’s “Realm of Chaos” performed with more Black Metal sound. The production is good and the Italian trio shows that they can compose interesting Death/Black metal stuff.
