Skorbutiks from Italy delivers Thrash-infused old school Death Metal on their 7 track album “Archeonecrosis”. The range stretches from Benediction to Morbid Angel with atmospheric elements, but it sounds sometimes very unbalanced to me. The synth-parts in my opinion should have been more spread out.
Skorbutiks has a lot of potential, but I don‘t have the feeling that they know in which direction they should go. There are some riffs that were absolutely killer. The album itself has a very interesting tone to it and it‘s very easy to listen to. (HaCeBo)
