South American Black/Death Metal, I don’t think we need to explain our appreciation for that combination, do we?
Our Paraguayan friends haven’t become any milder on their second full-length, with titles like ‘Sacrifice. Glorification and Initiation into the Blasphemic Epitome of Our Grand Goatic God Sathanas’. Then again, one does not adopt the moniker War Satanic Black Death Metal without intent. You can clearly hear why they list Abhorer, Bestial Warlust, and Impiety as influences, though fans of chaotic War Metal should probably have a listen first, as the sound is less of a chaotic wall of noise.
That’s not a criticism, just an observation, because otherwise the album definitely packs a punch.
