Info

The Old School Death Metal of Enfleshment, a one-man project by Stanley Wolak III (is that still a thing….the third? Fancy!) from Michigan, USA, starts off with a distant sounding rehearsal room riff…but then the roaring bass and additional guitar kicks in and creates a massive sound.

Simple yet effective rhythm riffs are the foundation of this demo and tracks like “Shackles of Torment” and “Bood Declaration” are perfect examples how a mix of the mid-tempo 90s US Death Metal, the nowadays Danish scene and the dark side of the Finnish scene. Not a coincidence there is a cover of Convulse’s “World without God” as closing track.

Definitely a good start in the right direction, this debut demo! (Ricardo)
