On ‘In The Eyes Of Ioldanach’ the storm of Cythraul is still raging. Literally.
Proscriptor McGovern and his two disciples give away a blistering attack of Blackened Thrash Metal – As harsh and as fast as the mini’s predecessor ‘The Third Storm Of Cythraul’ – Including the same typical sharp and fast sung vocal lines.
The track ‘Manannán’ would also appear on Absu’s crème de ma crème ‘Tara’ in 2001 – Yet rawer this time. I’m glad the band temporized after the release of ‘In The Eyes Of Ioldanach’.
Nevertheless this is an outstanding release.
