Info

Before you get the Carnage alert and siren on full power, Torn Apart from Russia does play Old School Death Metal, but not the Old School Swedish kind concerning sound. No buzz saw worship here, but it does a huge dive in the late ‘80s – begin 90s demo pool. The sound, the mix of up- and midtempo, the riffs and how the songs are structured, it all sounds so fuckin’ authentic. So if you have an demo evening and you pick old demos of Acheron, Amorphis, Monastery, Rottrevore and Vital Remains, you can easily put “Abominations” in the queue as it will fit in just fine. The stench is coming from Russia this time! (Ricardo)
