The Finnish scene is booming since last year, thanks to all kind of projects and labels who are focusing on the typical 90s sound and melody in the riffs.
Gloom is no difference and brings a pleasant hybrid of the 90s Finnish as well as the 90s Norwegian scene to the table with “Rider of the Last Light”. Just plain but oh so adequate icy yet melodic Black Metal which comes all together in a track like “Iron Claws of Black Metal”.
