Back in the beginning of the ninetees there was this band called Cadaver and they released a split cd with Carnage but after this release they broke up. Anders Odden played in a non-metal band called Apoptygma Berzerk after Carnage but I have never heard this band. He also did some guitars on Satyricon’s ‘Rebel Extravaganza’ and now he is back with the resurrection of Cadaver.
Now going under the name Cadaver Inc and they have incorporated different Black Metal feels into their sound. The cd sounds very Scandinavian and I hear influences by Satyricon and Carpathian Forest. The musicianship is very good but what to expect when the members have played in bands like Dimmu Borgir, Aura Noir and Dødheimsgard.
They slow down for the first time at ‘Point Zero’ but also this track ends at full speed. I don’t have any favourite tracks because this cd is great from the first track to the last one. If you look at the total it’s a mix of fast Black Metal with some Thrash and Death Metal influences. Don’t expect any atmospheric moments on this cd but only agression the way metal should be played. The intensity is this heavy thanks to the great production.
This is a recommended cd for all who are into Extreme Metal.
