Black Metal from the USA and an one-man project once again. It is hard to keep track on all the projects these days, but with ‘Cursed by the Witch’, multi-instrumentalist Wraith has released his second album.
An album filled raw-ish tremolo picking riffs but slower fragments are present as well. It also beholds venomous vocals ala Maniac’s on Wurdulak’s ‘Ceremony in Flames’, which is quite prominent in the mix, which could be a tad less, in my opinion.
Overall, ‘Cursed by the Witch’ is an okay Black Metal album, yet it is not an essential listening in my book.
