Info

“Black dirt pumped up earth’s surface…A pulsating vomitous throat cursing all feebleness crossing its path. Death, desperation, sickness and plague, infected water, rotten food, malformed breed, storms of flies and worms. A disease has arrived…Destroy your life for Satan, Beyond Scorn, lies and calumny, I still stand and watch you rot.”

Mütiilation is not just another band, not again a poorly inspired attempt at evilness. Almost mythical because of its past (‘Vampires of Black Imperial Blood’, ‘Remains of a Ruined’, ‘Dead Cursed Soul’) but determined to cast an immense black shadow on our sparkle of future. The Black Metal of Mütiilation makes you coughing up blood, it procreates nothing but pure negativity and hate, it turns humanity disgusting and degenerating, it’s the needle of another shot.

‘Majestas Leprosus’ goes musically further where ‘Black Millenium’ halted. So not the melancholic sound of the earlier works but again a cold, dead, mechanical sound. This is raw, unlimited and intense black noise at its finest. The only drawbacks of this release are perhaps the not very well executed artwork and the lack of lyrics in the booklet. I really regret not having the lyrics since the ones on ‘Black Millenium’ where some of the finest black prophecies over the last years. Maybe an idea for the vinyl version?

Anyhow, another great opus by a long standing band!
