Acceptus Noctifer is a second disciple of Profanum Records released upon mankind. And just like the other Portuguese band on their roster, InThyFlesh, they came out of nothing. After hearing their ‘Rehearsal 2002’ however I must say that I’m pretty damned impressed with this band.

Acceptus Noctifer has filled the tape with extremely hateful Black Metal in the vein of for example Vermeth or the more recent Mutiilation stuff. So, very raw tracks with dissonant, almost unbearable guitars, a very mechanical drum sound (drum machine) and a screeching, bestial voice cutting the skin, reaching the veins to inject the worst blackened emotions into your system. It feels like the tape is eroding while it’s playing and a thick, black liquid is pumped through your stereo.

Great unhealthy, sickening Black Metal! Unfortunately the tape is sold out now but I would keep a close eye to the band and Profanum Records in order not to miss out a future release. Promising!
