Info

If you like your Black Metal Scandinavian and more important, released 20 years ago…you should check out Skuggan. This album is filled with Second Wave Black Metal and twisted vocals which sounds 99% like it’s played backwards. It gives a certain demonic atmosphere. The Black Metal is harsh and has a raw production. Although it doesn’t match the imposing status of the old classicks, this album can be a nice one if you like early Emperor (“Wrath of the Tyrant”) and Enslaved (“Vikingligr Veldi”). It’s nice to know there are still bands out there who know how to create such Black Metal. (Ricardo)
