VoidCeremony – Foul Origins Of Humanity [EP]

voidceremony – foul origins of humanity [ep]

Sometimes one comes across a band that is hard to categorize, and it is not always music for an easy listening. In the same time those things are very attractive and seems to stand out a lot of other bands compared to what mostly comes out today. That`s what came to mind when I first listened to VoidCeremony. These guys proofed once again to be a band you have to put on your list. Once they will release an album it could strongly be a masterpiece of prog/tech Death Metal, the really extreme way. Take some Morbid Angel, The Chasm and a dose of Stargazer and you have some real crazy mixture of fretboard wizardry, octopus drums, and versatile vocals. Fantastic leads here and there are a must. Odd time signatures, groove, crazy chord progression… all is there. Now throw in some catchy choruses and we could talk about a classic to come, but I don`t know if it would fit to the band’s ideas,. This is highly skilled Death Metal, check it out folks. (DPF)
