Desecresy – Stoic Death

No Image Available

Finland’s Desecresy released their fourth album through Spanish label Xtreem Music and proved once again they aren’t the easiest listening death metal band around. Their sound constantly reminds you of Bolt Thrower with a very morbid and mid-paced mood. They put a lot of weird and interesting bits into the mix, with excellent death/doom vocals together with some unorthodox leads and solos, making this band a unique experience and one that stands out of the highly populated old-school Death Metal crowd. If you are looking for a catchy, predictable and more modern death metal sound, forget this and move on to another band. However, if you are a fan of bands like Bolt Thrower and the more recent (and excellent) Ghoulghota, and you are a true appreciator of originality and unpredictability, get this and prepare to be surrounded by one of the most morbid and doomy atmospheres 2015 had to offer.
