Angelgoat from Serbia is a one-man show by Unholy Carnager and is dealing with all the instruments himself. With “The Lucifer Within” we have the third album of Angelgoat in hands and it is quite easy to describe what we are dealing with; pure satanic Black Metal.
Unholy Carnager sticks with what he knows best and does best since the beginning of Angelgoat back in 2001. With a mix of Immortal’s “Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism”, Maniac Butcher and old Darkthrone, Angelgoat’s “The Lucifer Within” brings you back to the 1990s with the charm of not perfectly executed blasts and polished sound, but stays close to the lyrical theme; blasphemy and darkness.
Once again this is not an album that will achieve a huge fan base all in a sudden, but will be enjoyed by them who like their Black Metal in a certain way. (Ricardo)
