If metal would be math, it would be possible that Hellthrasher Productions equals decent releases, as the debut of Abysme is a solid release as well. With an ex-Funerus member on guitar and vocals, you wouldn’t be surprised that we are dealing with 1990s Old School Death Metal. There are two different musical faces of Abysme. The fast riffs are early 1990’s USDM (old Incantation) while the slower passages are in the “Dismember playing Autopsy” category. If you enjoy, let’s pick Dismember’s track “Me-God”, Autopsy’s “Mental Funeral” and thought Incantation’s “Mortal Throne of Nazarene” was a fun album to hear…try Abysme! (Ricardo)
